Community Guidelines

Cosporti is a community marketplace where people discover, create, and join sports activities. These Community Guidelines describe the standards of behaviour expected of all users. They help ensure that Cosporti remains a safe, respectful, and supportive place for everyone.

By using the Cosporti Platform, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines in addition to our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

1. RESPECT AND INCLUSIVITY

We are committed to fostering an environment where all users feel welcome. You agree to:

  • Treat others with courtesy, respect, and dignity.

  • Avoid language or actions that could be perceived as abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or hateful.

  • Respect people’s identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities.

  • Celebrate diversity and encourage positive participation from all users.

Do not use derogatory language or target individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics.

 

2. SAFE PARTICIPATION

Your safety and that of others is a top priority:

  • Only participate in activities that align with your physical ability and health status.

  • Follow all rules, guidelines, and instructions provided by the Organiser.

  • Respect venue and facility rules.

  • Use appropriate equipment, attire, and protective gear where applicable.

  • If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or unwell at any time, discontinue participation and notify the Organiser.

Cosporti does not supervise Activities and is not responsible for injuries or incidents (see Terms and Conditions).

 

3. HONEST AND ACCURATE INFORMATION

Users must provide truthful and up-to-date information:

  • Use your real name and accurate profile details.

  • Provide correct and complete information when creating or joining Activities.

  • Do not impersonate others or create accounts for others without their consent.

  • Do not list Activities you are not qualified or permitted to host.

Misrepresentation, fraud, and deception violate these Guidelines and may result in account suspension or removal.

 

4. APPROPRIATE CONTENT

All content you post on the Platform must be appropriate and lawful:

  • Do not post sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, or illegal content.

  • Do not share content that encourages harmful or dangerous behaviour.

  • Respect copyright and intellectual property rights; only post content you own or have permission to use.

Cosporti reserves the right to remove inappropriate content at its discretion.

 

5. RESPECT FOR VENUES AND PROPERTY

Respect facilities, equipment, and public or private property:

  • Do not damage or misuse equipment or facilities.

  • Follow venue rules and safety regulations.

  • Clean up after yourself and encourage others to do the same.

Failure to respect property may lead to account consequences.

 

6. COMMUNICATION STANDARDS

Communication between users should be respectful and constructive:

  • Use appropriate language in all messages and interactions.

  • Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully others.

  • Avoid excessive or unwanted direct messaging.

If you experience harassment or inappropriate messages, report them immediately through the Platform.

 

7. FAIR PLAY AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP

Cosporti promotes enjoyable experiences for all:

  • Compete fairly; do not engage in cheating or dishonesty.

  • Be gracious in victory or defeat.

  • Support teammates and fellow Participants.

Unsportsmanlike conduct may lead to consequences under these Guidelines.

 

8. SAFEGUARDING & PROBLEM RESOLUTION

If an issue arises during or after an Activity:

  • Attempt to resolve minor concerns respectfully with the other party.

  • Use the Cosporti reporting tools to flag issues linked to:

    • Harassment or abusive behaviour

    • Safety violations

    • Misrepresentation or fraudulent activity

    • Content violations

    • Disputes over payments or cancellations

Cosporti will review reports and may take actions including:

  • Warnings

  • Temporary suspensions

  • Permanent account removal

  • Reporting to legal authorities where appropriate

 

9. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Respect the privacy of other users:

  • Do not share another user’s personal information without consent.

  • Do not record Activities or communications without permission from all involved parties.

  • Abide by the Cosporti Privacy Policy with regard to data handling.

 

10. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

You must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws while using Cosporti. Illegal activity or conduct that violates laws is strictly prohibited.

 

11. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATION

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

  • Removal of content

  • Limits on Platform features

  • Suspension of account privileges

  • Permanent account deletion

  • Reporting to legal authorities

Cosporti reserves full discretion to decide on appropriate sanctions.

 

12. REPORTING AND ASSISTANCE

If you observe a violation or feel unsafe:

  1. Use the in-app reporting feature.

  2. Provide details and any evidence (messages, screenshots, dates).

  3. Cosporti will respond and may follow up where necessary.

If you require urgent help in a dangerous situation, contact local authorities.

 

13. UPDATES TO THE GUIDELINES

We may update these Community Guidelines to reflect evolving features, legal requirements, or community needs. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email.
